AIOU Satellite TV Channels for Education

Allama Iqbal Open University AIOU is going to establish the education tv channels with the collaboration of Federal Education Ministry. AIOU and Federal Ministry have signed the agreement for the setting up of the educational channels, which can help to impart the education on these tv channels. Federal Education Minister and Vice Chancellor of AIOU signed the agreement for AIOU Satellite TV Channels for Education. 

AIOU will establish four tv channels for education and they will telecast he education related content for millions of the students round the clock. This project will incur Rs.570 million and it will take 5 to 6 months to complete the channels and they will start their broadcasting. The Education minister issued the directives to the HEC to assist AIOU for the launching of the satellite education tv channels.

The minister has also issued orders to the Additional Secretary of Ministry of Education to carry out working on the launching of the tv channels and ensure that this project will complete within given time frame. The former education minister launched the radio channel and teleschool on PTV during first wave of Coronavirus.
