For the academic session 2025, APS announces admissions in class 7th and class 8th. Aspiring candidates are encouraged to apply by following the detailed guidelines below.
Guidelines for Submission of Online Admission Form:

Accessing the Admission Form:
Visit APS’s official website to download the admission form.
Alternatively, the form can be obtained from the Main Gate of Abbottabad Public School or via WhatsApp at 0331-6360606 or 0311-8376737.

Form Submission:
The admission form must be attested by the Headmaster or Principal of the candidate’s current school.
Complete all required fields in the form.
Submit the form along with a Bank Deposit Slip of Rs. 5000/- Non-Refundable Registration/Processing Fee to A/C No 3082295288 at the National Bank of Pakistan, Mirpur Village Branch, Abbottabad Branch Code: 1470.

Eligibility Criteria:

Age as of 31st March 2025:
For Class 7th: 11 to 13 years.
For Class 8th: 12 to 14 years.
Academic Requirement:
For Class 7th: The candidate must have passed class 6th or equivalent.
For Class 8th: The candidate must have passed class 7th or equivalent.

Written Test:

Test Schedule:
Class 8th: 9th November 2024 Saturday at 08:00 AM.
Class 7th: 25th December 2024 Wednesday at 08:00 AM.

Subjects:
The written test will cover English, Math, Urdu, and Islamiyat.

Test Centers:
Abbottabad, Bannu, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, Sialkot, Rawalpindi, and Multan subject to a sufficient number of candidates.

Test Format:
The syllabus will be based on the Grade-6 level for class 7th and Grade-7 level for class 8th of all textbook boards in Pakistan.
The test comprises:
First Round Initial: Conducted by NTS 40% weightage.
Second Round Qualified Candidates only: Conducted by APS 40% weightage.
Medical/Final Interview: For shortlisted candidates 20% weightage.

Final Selection:
Candidates who pass the written tests will be called for an interview and medical examination. The final merit list will be based on a combined score of written tests 80% weightage and the interview 20% weightage.

Self-Finance Scheme:
20% of seats in class 7th and 50% of seats in class 8th are reserved for students opting for self-finance.

Class 7th:
Last Date to Apply: 30th November 2024.
