3% Marks or Special Exams for Repeaters & Improvers

The meeting of the steering committee of education department of government of Sindh was conducted and it was decided during the meeting that the students failing in two subjects, will be awarded with the marks according to the marks gained in other subjects. If the students failed in more subjects, then they will be awarded with only passing marks along with 3% more marks. In the cases of improvers and repeaters, the government decided to offer two options, where they accept the 3% more marks or they can appear in the special exams. 3% Marks or Special Exams for Repeaters & Improvers.
Because of the spreading of the COVID pandemic in the country, the federal and provincial government made the unanimous decision that the educational boards of all over the country will not manage the annual exams of the matric and inter classes this year and the students of the SSC and HSSC will be promoted to the next higher classes. The government also announced that the teaching process in the public and private schools will be started online and the students will attend the online classes. The private schools will start the online classes and they will ask the teaching staff and the non teaching staff to attend the school to start the online classes but they will have to follow the SOPs, which is issued by WHO and the department of Health of Sindh.
