10 Medical Colleges Termed as Illegal by PMDC

Islamabad, Pakistan Medical and Dental Council declared the certificates and degrees issued by the 10 medical and dental colleges illegal and they are barred from inducting the new students through new admissions. These medical colleges were registered under Pakistan Medical Commission. As the PMC is dissolved and termed as illegal by the orders of Islamabad High Court and due to this announcement, these colleges are also declared illegal. 10 Medical Colleges Termed as Illegal by PMDC.

The PMDC issued the notice that all of the steps being taken by PMC have been declared as illegal and the certificates and registration given to medical colleges are also being considered as illegal. The students, who were admitted in these medical colleges will be shifted to other medical colleges. The council has issued the notification at this time, when the medical colleges and universities are awarding the admissions to the students and the students are now preparing for the MDCAT entry test to get admission in the MBBS and BDS classes. The candidates should note the names of the medical and dental colleges, which are declared illegal.

Islamabad

• Shifa College of Dentistry, Shifa Tameer Millat
• Rawal Institute of Health Sciences Islamabad

Sindh

• Muhammad Dental College Mirpur
• Khairpur Medical College
• Air Force Rath Fau Medical College
• Dow Dental College of Karachi

KPK

• Abbottabad International Medical College
• Swat Medical College

The students of all these colleges will be adjusted in other colleges and their fee collected by these colleges will be shifted to their respective colleges, in which these students will be shifted.
