Islamabad Capital Territory ICT Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority PEIRA has announced the winter vacation dates for all private schools and colleges in Islamabad. The latest information regarding Winter Holiday Schedule for Islamabad Private Schools & Colleges are shared online for information and comfort of the students, admin and teaching staff.

According to the official notification issued on December 20, 2024, private schools and colleges in Islamabad will be closed from December 21, 2024, to January 5, 2025. Classes will resume on Monday, January 6, 2025.

The notice, signed by Muhammad Javed Iqbal, Secretary of ICT-PEIRA, specifies that the winter vacation applies to all private educational institutions in Islamabad, in line with the Islamabad Capital Territory Private Educational Institutions Registration & Regulation Act, 2013.

This winter break is designed to give both students and staff a restful pause during the cold weather, allowing them to recharge before the academic term resumes in January.

PEIRA has shared the notification with relevant bodies, including the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, to ensure smooth implementation and raise awareness among the public.
