UOK Postgraduate Programs Admissions Open 2025
The University of Karachi UOK has announced the admissions schedule for the academic year 2025-26 for its MS, MPhil, and PhD programs in Economics. These postgraduate programs are designed for students who wish to pursue advanced studies in Economics under the guidance of distinguished faculty at UOK.
Eligibility Criteria for UOK Admissions 2025: For the PhD program, candidates must hold an MPhil degree in Economics from an HEC-recognized University or an equivalent foreign qualification. Applicants must submit an equivalency certificate from UOK. For the MS/MPhil programs, candidates must have 16 years of education in any discipline with a minimum of 2nd division from an HEC-recognized institution. Those with degrees from foreign universities must provide an Equivalence Certificate from UOK.
The application deadline is January 13, 2025, with the admission test scheduled for January 28, 2025 and interviews on February 03, 2025. Candidates can apply online through the UOK Apply Online portal. The admission test will be conducted by the Applied Economics Research Centre AERC, and previous GAT Subject or GRE Advanced Economics scores from the past two years are also accepted.
