UHS 2025 Admissions and Clinical Policy for Health Programs

LAHORE –University of Health Sciences UHS Lahore has officially approved the 2025 undergraduate admission schedule for its Allied Health Sciences and Pharmacy programs, including BS, Doctor of Physical Therapy DPT, and Doctor of Pharmacy Pharm-D degrees. The decision was made during a joint session of the Boards of Studies for Allied Health Sciences and Pharmacy, presided over by UHS Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ahsan Waheed Rathore. Senior faculty members and principals from affiliated colleges were also in attendance.

Application Dates Set for BS, DPT, Pharm-D; Focus on In-House Teaching Hospitals

Under the newly approved plan, the Fall 2025 admissions will begin in the first week of July, with applications closing in the final week of the month. The admission test is scheduled for early August, while the first merit list will be issued by the third week of August. Academic sessions for the Fall Semester will start on September 30, 2025.

For the Spring 2026 session, the admissions process will kick off in late December. The entrance test will take place in the first week of February, followed by the merit list in the third week. Classes are slated to begin from March 30, 2026.

The meeting also addressed the standards of clinical training, stressing the need for each affiliated Allied Health institution to set up its own 200-bed teaching hospital. The Vice Chancellor advised against relying on external MoUs for clinical placements, arguing that in-house training ensures greater consistency and academic quality.
