UAE Launches AI Education in Public Schools Nationwide

Posting on X formerly known as Twitter, Sheikh Mohammed confirmed that the UAE Cabinet has ratified the final version of the AI curriculum, which will be implemented across all educational stages—from early childhood through secondary school. Comprehensive AI Curriculum Introduced from Kindergarten to Grade 12
The newly adopted program will introduce students to AI from both technical and ethical angles. Topics will include data science, algorithms, real-life uses, risks, and the influence of AI on society. The curriculum aims to develop young learners awareness of the powerful role that technology plays in shaping the future.
Commending the Ministry of Education’s efforts, Sheikh Mohammed highlighted the urgent need to keep educational standards aligned with global technological progress. He emphasized that providing young people with advanced digital competencies is not only vital for national progress but also a responsibility towards securing the UAE’s place as a leader in innovation.
