SAARC Scholarship Pak Students MBBS Admissions in Bangladesh

The government of Bangladesh is offering a unique opportunity for Pakistani students to pursue MBBS degrees through the SAARC Quota Scholarship. Official Notification:

According to the official notification from the Ministry of Health, Bangladesh, the Directorate General of Medical Education has announced admissions for foreign students in Government Medical and Dental Colleges for the academic year 2024-2025. This year, a total of 221 seats are earmarked for foreign students, with 117 seats allocated for SAARC countries, including Pakistan, and 99 seats for Non-SAARC countries under the Bangladesh Governments scholarship program.

Opportunities in Private Medical/Dental Colleges:

In addition to Government institutions, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare welcomes applications from foreign students seeking admission to Private Medical and Dental Colleges in Bangladesh. A comprehensive list of both Government and Private Medical Dental Colleges, along with the allocated number of seats, can be found on the official website. For Private Medical/Dental Colleges, a maximum of 4596 foreign students can be accommodated within their total allocated seats.

Application Process:

The criteria and procedures for application by foreign students are outlined on the website. Interested candidates are required to submit online applications only through their official website. Notably, no hard copies of the application need to be submitted to Bangladesh foreign missions abroad.

Application Deadline:


Candidates are advised to adhere to the deadline for submission of online applications, which is set for 29 February 2024. This deadline applies to both Government and Private Medical and Dental Colleges, and no applications will be considered beyond this date.
