Punjab Boards Begin Computerized Marking of Board Exams

Punjab Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education has made the decision to begin the digital marking of the papers of the students in their SSC and HSSC classes for their annual exams. The education boards of the Punjab Province will shift from on-paper marking to computerized marking and they have started the digitization of the process. Initially, all educational boards will launch the pilot project and they are making necessary arrangements to launch this digital marking system. The preparations have been made in Multan board and the pilot projects in Lahore board will be launched on 31 January. Each board will launch the pilot project and the special exams will be managed and their papers will be checked to prepare the result of the special exams through this digital system in order to check its accuracy. The report and the accuracy of the result will be presented to Punjab Board Committee of Chairmen for its analysis.
Only ten to fifteen students of the selective schools will be allowed to appear in the special exams in the subjects like English, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology.
