Punjab Announces Two Day Closure of Educational Institutions

Lahore – The Punjab Education Minister has announced that all educational institutions across the province will remain closed for two days. Both public and private schools, colleges, and universities will observe holidays on May 9 and May 10.
Applies to All Educational Levels
The closure applies uniformly to all levels of education, including primary schools, secondary schools, colleges, and universities—regardless of whether they are government-run or privately operated.
Regular Classes to Resume Next Week
According to the provincial minister, regular academic activities will resume from Monday, May 12. Students and staff are expected to return to their institutions as per usual schedules.
