PSAC Announces Reopening of Private Schools from 15 August

Private Schools Action Committee has made the announcement to reopen the private schools from 15 August. The PSAC has arranged the press conference and they announced that they are going to reopen the private schools all over the country from 15 August. For this purpose of reopening of the schools and to ensure the safety and security of the students and teachers, they have made the SOPs, which have 31 points. The government imposed the lockdown across the country because of the spreading of the coronavirus pandemic and the schools, colleges and universities were forced to closed. The study of the children was badly affected and the teaching staff and the school owners were also affected due to closing of the educational institutes but the government did not take care of the teachers and owners, whose economic condition was badly affected and they were forced to do other tasks including the laboring. The parents of the children also want to send their children to their schools so that they can continue their study. the pandemic condition in some UCs of Karachi is still in danger so the schools of these areas will not be opened now. The government should also provide the promotion certificates of the students in all boards.
