Private Schools Decline Paying Salaries to Teachers

The government has already issued orders to the owners of the private schools that they can collect the tuition fee of their students with the slight cut in the fee. Now it is reported that the schools are still receiving the fee from the students for the month of April but most of the private owned schools refused to pay the salaries of the teachers during the lockdown because of the Coronavirus pandemic. Headstart School System Islamabad informed the teachers and other employees that they are unable to pay their salaries as they are not receiving the tuition fee from the parents of the students. The organization has applied for the loan from the State Bank of Pakistan to get the loan so that they can pay the salaries of their teachers.
The Federal Government allowed the private schools association to keep their campuses open for first 5 days of every month so that they can collect the tuition fee till the ongoing lockdown in the country.
It is also s aid that the teachers at Headstart School System have been teaching the children online like teachers of other schools during this lockdown. The management of this school is forcing the teachers to attend the campuses for different assignments during the lockdown.
