Innovative AI and ICT Curriculum for Young Students
The Federal Ministry of Education and Vocational Training has introduced a groundbreaking curriculum for Information Communication Technology ICT and Artificial Intelligence aimed at primary school students in grades 1 to 5 in the capital. This curriculum is designed to provide students with essential skills in IT and AI, giving them a robust foundation and preparing them for future technological progress. Additionally, this initiative is expected to open up lucrative career opportunities in the fields of technology and AI.
Expansion of AI Education to Lahore
The program will also be implemented in Lahore, Punjab. The first AI lab will be set up at Government Kinnaird Girls High School on Empress Road, with Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz scheduled to inaugurate it next week. After the successful launch of the AI course, similar labs will be established in schools across other districts, including Multan, Khanewal, Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalpur, and Dera Ghazi Khan.
