PEEF Introduced Scholarships for FATA Students for 2024 25

The Punjab Education Endowment Fund PEEF is offering financial support to exceptional students from FATA and Merged Areas who wish to pursue master’s degrees. This scholarship program for the academic session 2024-25 aims to empower high-achieving individuals facing financial challenges, ensuring they have the resources to achieve their academic goals.

Students residing in FATA/Merged Areas and holding a valid domicile from these regions are eligible to apply. Applicants must have completed their Matric or Intermediate exams in 2024, achieving a minimum of 60% marks, and should be currently enrolled in a full-time program at a registered institution. This initiative specifically targets students who have studied in government institutions and come from families with a combined monthly income of no more than Rs. 60,000. However, certain exemptions apply to children of Grade 1-4 government employees and individuals whose families have been affected by terrorism.

This scholarship also includes reserved quotas for students qualifying under special categories. These include orphans, children from minority communities, students with disabilities, and the children of martyrs of civilian terrorist attacks. These reserved quotas ensure inclusivity and cater to those who might otherwise face barriers to education.

To apply, students must submit their applications on the prescribed form. These forms can be collected from the Section Officer Training at the Department of Higher Education, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, or downloaded from the PEEF website. Applications must be completed accurately and submitted before the deadline of December 15, 2024. Incomplete submissions or those received after the closing date will not be accepted.
