NSTC-15 for International Olympiads

15th National Science Talent Contest is going to be started by Higher Education Commission (HEC) and Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS) and the interested candidates, who want to apply for this contest, they have been fallen in two categories. The students, who are in matric class or FSc (Part 1) with aggregate of 70% marks or more in Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Mathematics are fallen in ‘a’ category. The students, who are in O-level or in A-level (part 1) with the total 70% marks or more in Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, they are fallen in ‘b’ category.
The candidates have to submit their nomination forms till the closing date of 26 January 2018 and ‘a’ students will have to pay the application processing fee of Rs.500 and ‘b’ category students will have to deposit the fee of Rs.1000/-, which is non refundable. The candidates will have to pay the fee in the HBL online account number 00427991660803.
The candidates will have to appear in the testing center located in Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi/Islamabad, Peshawar, Quetta, Multan, Hyderabad and Gilgit. The candidates should check their checklist and also read other instructions, which are mentioned here for the facility of the candidates. The candidates should attach the necessary documents with the nomination forms and the selected students will attend the International Biology Olympiad (IBO), International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO), International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) and International Physics Olympiad (IPhO). The students will also be awarded with the cash prizes and the certificates and the gold medal winner students will be given the cash prize of Rs.120,000/-, the bronze medal winners will obtain Rs.80,000/- and the bronze medal winner students will obtain the cash prize of Rs.60,000/-. The honorable mention students will get the cash award of Rs.50,000/- and the international participants will get Rs.20,000/-.
