KS&EW Admissions 2025 Short Courses

The Shipyard Training School STS at Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works KS&EW. is now accepting applications for its 6-month skill development courses KS&EW, beginning 1st July 2025. These hands-on training programs are offered in collaboration with Sindh Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority STEVTA and the Trade Testing Board TTB.

With a focus on practical industry-based training, these courses prepare students for technical careers in shipbuilding, mechanics, welding, and more.

 Offered Trades & Monthly Fees
Choose from morning or evening shifts:

Morning: 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Evening: 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

General Electrician / Ship Electrician 
ARC Welding / CO₂ Welding 
Aluminum & Steel Fabrication 
Ship Diesel Mechanic 
Overhead Crane Operator 
Mechanical Draughtsman

 Admission Requirements

Education: Minimum Matric 10th Grade

Age Limit: 16 to 35 Years

KS&EW Fee Payment: 2-month advance fee required to confirm admission

Discount Offer: 5% discount for students paying full 6-month fee in advance

Safety Equipment Fee: Rs. 3,500 includes safety vest and safety shoes
