KPK Worker Welfare Fund Scholarship 2024

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Worker Welfare Board/Fund has announced the KP Worker Welfare Fund Scholarship 2024 for the children of industrial and mine workers. This scholarship aims to support students enrolled in colleges, universities, and institutions for the academic session 2024-25. The scholarships are designed to cover various educational expenses and provide financial support to deserving students across three distinct categories.
Students in different categories have specific deadlines to apply. For those pursuing Intermediate or DAE programs, the application deadline is October 31, 2024. Students enrolled in undergraduate degree programs can submit their applications by December 31, 2024. For those in MBBS, Engineering, or postgraduate programs, the deadline is March 31, 2024.
The Worker Welfare Board will cover all expenses related to the scholarship, including admission fees, tuition fees, transport charges, hostel fees, library fees, computer fees, and exam fees. Additionally, a monthly stipend will be provided to support students living expenses.
Eligibility for the scholarship requires workers to meet the criteria set by the Industrial Relation Act IRA 2012. This includes a minimum service period of 3 years, and the worker must be registered with EOBI or ESSI. Employees of the Worker Welfare Board and Fund, as well as their children, are also eligible.
KP Worker Welfare Fund Scholarship 2024 is categorized as follows:
Category-1: Students enrolled in institutions administered by the Worker Welfare Board/Fund, or in Public Schools or Cadet Colleges if seats are unavailable. They will receive a monthly stipend of PKR 3500. The deadline for this category is October 31, 2024.
Category-2: Students pursuing a 2-year or 4-year degree at recognized universities or affiliated colleges will receive PKR 4500 per month.
Category-3: Students in Engineering, Medical, or postgraduate programs will receive a monthly stipend of PKR 5500.
Required documents for application include an admission offer letter, scholarship form attested by factory management, CNIC/Form-B/Birth Certificate, workers CNIC, EOBI/ESSI worker card, DMC/marks sheets, original service certificate, payslip, and proof of fee payments.
