HEC USAT 2024 for Undergraduate Admissions Schedule

The Higher Education Commission HEC, in partnership with the Education Testing Council ETC, is gearing up to conduct the Undergraduate Studies Admission Test USAT for undergraduate admissions in universities across Pakistan. Designed on the Scholastic Aptitude Test SAT model, the USAT assesses students’ eligibility for diverse fields such as Engineering, Medicine, IT, Management, and Social Sciences. Eligibility Requirements for USAT

Students who have completed their Higher Secondary School Certificate HSSC or equivalent education are eligible to apply for the USAT 2024.
Students who have appeared in their final exams and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply.

Choosing the Right USAT Version

The USAT 2024 consists of six distinct versions tailored to different academic streams. A score of 50 or above is considered passing, with the highest possible score being 100. Students should register for the test category that corresponds to their field of study:

USAT - E: Pre-Engineering
USAT - M: Pre-Medical
USAT - A: Arts & Humanities
USAT - CS: Computer Science
USAT - GS: General Science
USAT - COM: Commerce

USAT 2024 Testing Schedule and Locations

The USAT is administered quarterly in major cities across Pakistan, with additional tests scheduled based on demand. Candidates can complete their USAT applications through the ETC portal. The provisional test date for USAT 2024 is July 14, 2024. Any schedule changes will be announced on the HEC ETC website and portal. The test will be conducted in the following cities:

University Participation in USAT

Universities in Pakistan will independently announce their admission programs. Students applying to universities that accept the USAT must submit their respective USAT category ETC scorecards, which will factor into the merit-based admission criteria.

Application Procedure for USAT 2024

To apply for the USAT, follow these steps:

Visit the official HEC ETC website for online registration.
Create an account on the HEC ETC portal and begin filling out your USAT application.
Ensure that your application is submitted; applications in Save or Incomplete status will not be considered.
After completing the application, upload all required documents and pay the test fee through 1Link/1 Bill Invoice payment services using the generated consumer number.
After fee payment, click on "Verify Online Payment" on the ETC Dashboard.
Note that the test fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Registered applicants will receive exam details via email/SMS, so provide a valid email address and mobile number during registration.
Submit your application before the USAT registration deadline June 30, 2024.

Key Instructions

Mobile phones and electronic devices for calculating, recording, communicating, or imaging are strictly prohibited inside the USAT test center. Sharing images of the question booklet is an offense and will be punished according to ETC rules.

The USAT test fee is Rs. 1750/- per application.
The USAT test date is July 14, 2024.
The application deadline is June 30, 2024.
The USAT test will be held in eight major cities across Pakistan.
