HEC Commonwealth Scholarships Masters and PhD 2024

The HEC Commonwealth Scholarships for Masters and Ph.D. programs in the UK are now open for applications. These scholarships, funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office FCDO, aim to provide educational opportunities to individuals who may not have the means to study in the UK. A total of 26 nominations for Masters and 30 nominations for Ph.D. programs are available through this prestigious scholarship.

The Commonwealth Scholarship offers a generous stipend of approximately £1,347 per month around PKR 521,469, along with a return air ticket, children’s allowance, spouse allowance, and a study tour allowance. These scholarships cover full tuition fees and provide additional benefits such as warm clothing allowance, fieldwork-related travel expenses, and one air ticket to the home country during studies.

The application deadline for both HEC Commonwealth Masters and Ph.D. scholarships is October 15, 2024. Candidates must submit their applications to both the HEC and Commonwealth portals by this deadline.

The HEC Commonwealth Scholarships are available in six key themes, including Science and technology for development, Strengthening health systems, Promoting global prosperity, and Access, inclusion, and opportunity. To be eligible, applicants must be Pakistani/AJK nationals with a first-class Bachelor’s or Master’s degree for the Masters program and a relevant postgraduate qualification for the Ph.D. program.
