Who Can Apply for This Scholarship?
The program is open to international applicants from the following categories:
Citizens of member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation OIC
Citizens of Non-Aligned Movement NAM member countries
Residents of Small Island Developing States SIDS
Nationals from countries with historical, cultural, or ethnic ties to Azerbaijan
Eligibility criteria include:
Undergraduate/General Medicine: Applicants must be under 35 years old
Master’s/Medical Residency: Applicants must be under 40 years old
PhD: Applicants must be under 45 years old
Additionally, candidates must have a GPA of 70% or higher and demonstrate proficiency in either English, Russian, Turkish, or Azerbaijani.
How to Apply and Key Deadlines
The application process involves two phases:
Stage 1 – National Nomination: From March 15 to May 15, 2025, applicants must submit their documents to the relevant national authorities e.g., Ministries or Embassies.
Stage 2 – Centralized Registration: From June 1 to June 15, 2025, selected nominees will register through the Study in Azerbaijan Centralized Admission Service SIACAS online.
