Free Text Books to Students of Punjab Govt Schools

Lahore, The Government of Punjab, Lahore has launched a new initiative to provide free textbooks to students from grades 1 to matriculation in government schools. The Punjab School Education Department SED has initiated this program to offer free textbooks to students in public sector schools across various districts, including Rawalpindi, Jhelum, and Chakwal. The SED has also abolished the Urdu medium system in government schools, enabling students to stay informed about the Distribution of Free Text Books to Students of Punjab Govt Schools. This provision of free textbooks is expected to enhance the standard of education in English medium schools and benefit students in the region. Additionally, 10% more textbooks have been dispatched to all 36 districts in Punjab for students who have newly enrolled in schools. With the new academic year approaching, the School Education Department has ensured the timely distribution of textbooks to students as they prepare to start their new classes and commence their regular learning.
