Federal Education Institutions Closed Till 6th June 2021

Over the increasing number of COVID-19 cases, the National Command and Operation Center NCOC has announced to extend the holiday in schools. On the decision of NCOC, the Federal Directorate of Education FDE, Islamabad has issued a notification to extend the holidays in Federal Government Education Institutions, Islamabad.

According to the notification of FDE, the closure of federal educational institutions has been extended due to the rate of corona cases in Islamabad being about 6%. The closure of educational institutions has been extended from May 24 to June 6, according to the guidelines already issued.

The final decision on the reopening of the institutions will be taken by the NCOC, which will meet on June 3. The education officers of all the areas have been directed to send a copy of the notification to ensure its implementation.

Earlier, educational institutions were closed till May 23, but the NCOC has issued instructions that in cities with more than 5% corona cases, educational institutions will remain closed till June 6.
