BEEFs commitment to promoting educational access and excellence is evident in the array of partially funded scholarship categories it offers. These encompass Provincial Open Merit Scholarships POMS, District Open Merit Scholarships DOMS, Institutional Open Merit Scholarships IOMS, and Special Quota Open Merit scholarships.
District-wise Allocation:
In a bid to ensure equal opportunities, BEEF has meticulously allocated slots for each district based on collected soft data from result gazettes of BBISE/FBISE. This inclusive approach has resulted in 40 reserved slots for each district excluding Quetta, which has 70 slots due to its larger population, covering a total of 34 districts.
Subject/Program Allocation:
Furthermore, BEEF has allocated 25 slots for each subject/discipline of BS/Professional degree programs, demonstrating a strategic effort to cater to the diverse educational needs of the students.
Eligibility Criteria:
To qualify for BEEF Scholarships, students must have attained a minimum of 60% marks or a 3.0 CGPA. For applicants seeking the Special Quota Scholarship for Extremely Vulnerable Individuals, a minimum of 45% marks or a 2.5 CGPA is required. Additionally, maintaining a minimum of 75% attendance is crucial for eligibility.
Application Process:
BEEF has streamlined the application process, offering a single form for all categories. However, applicants are urged to carefully read and adhere to the instructions provided on the form. Incomplete forms or the submission of fraudulent documents may result in the discontinuation of the scholarship, with legal action being a possible consequence.
Application Submission:
For Categories A and B DOMS and IOMS, the submission of scholarship applications is exclusively through the head of the institution via post. The necessary forms and instructions are made available to the heads of institutions/focal persons, and the application form is also accessible on the BEEF website.
