British Council Doubles Scholarships for Pakistani Students

The British Council awards scholarships to Pakistani students every year to help them get admission to leading universities in the UK for various programs. Recently, the British Council has announced that the number of scholarships for Pakistani students has been increased by 100 percent. These scholarships are awarded to female students under the Scotland Pakistani Scholarship Program.
The Scottish government has partnered with the British Council to provide scholarships to Pakistani women. The scheme supports graduate studies for Pakistani women in HEC-recognized universities in Pakistan. It also provides scholarships to young girls at the secondary level from grade 8 to 12, enabling them to continue their education without any hindrances or financial issues. This scholarship scheme empowers Pakistani women and girls, enabling them to contribute to society through access to education.
