14 Pak Universities in QS World University Rankings 2024

In the latest edition of the QS World University Rankings for 2024, Pakistan celebrates a remarkable achievement as 14 of its universities secure places on the prestigious list. The top-ranking Pakistani institute is Quaid-i-Azam University QAU, making its mark among 1,500 universities worldwide. QAU proudly claims the 315th position, leading the pack of Pakistani institutions. Following closely are the National University of Sciences and Technology NUST at 367th place and the Lahore University of Management Sciences LUMS at 540th place.

In the overall rankings, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology MIT retains its dominance, securing the top position for the 12th consecutive time. The University of Cambridge secures the 2nd rank, while the University of Oxford impressively climbs to the 3rd spot, displacing Stanford University, which now stands at the 5th position.
