Winter Vacation in Educational Institutes from Nov to Jan

Islamabad, The Inter Provincial Education Minister conference was conducted today and the matter of the corona virus increasing cases was discussed and the participants showed their deep concerned on the elevating situation of this pandemic in the country especially in the educational institutes. National Command and Control Authority suggested to announce the winter vacations in the schools, colleges and universities from November to January. NCOC and other respective departments participated in the meeting and they briefed the participants about the increasing number of COVID-19 and said that increasing number of corona affected people in the country especially in the educational institutes, was alarming. The provincial education ministers rejected this suggested and they said that the educational institutes will not be closed. Now the next meeting on this topic will be held next week among the educational ministers of all provinces on 23 November 2020 and this matter will be considered once again.

Federal education minister showed his concern over the present position and he said that the lives of the teachers and students are very dear to him so he does not get the risk of the lives the students and this matter will be discussed in the next meeting.
