VU Spring 2025 Mid Terms: Overseas Exam Guidelines Unveiled

On May 3, 2025, Virtual University VU published the Overseas Examination Guidelines and Demo Schedule for Spring 2025 Mid-Term Examinations, ensuring a seamless experience for its overseas students. Conducted online via the VUTES 2.1.1 software, the exams cater to students abroad, adhering to Pakistan Standard Time. Students traveling to Pakistan must notify the Examination Department at overseasexams@vu.edu.pk and switch to a local exam center by updating their datesheet through the support system under Examinations > Conduct > Datesheet Queries.

The Software Setup Instructions mandate installing VUTES 2.1.1, Microsoft Visual C++ libraries, remote desktop tools like AnyViewer and AnyDesk, and Iriun for mobile camera streaming on a Windows 10/11 64-bit device. A detailed installation tutorial is available on YouTube. Mac users with Intel processors can dual-boot Windows, but M1 or higher processors are incompatible.

A Demo Test Schedule runs from May 3 to May 20, 2025, with daily sessions from 07:30 AM to 06:30 PM PST. Students can log in using their student ID to ensure system compatibility. Examination Day Guidelines require activating VUTES, remote software, and an external webcam 20 minutes prior, with login 15 minutes before the exam using credentials from the datesheet slip.
