USA TEA Exchange Program to Empower Pak English Teachers

The Teaching Excellence and Achievement TEA program is offering a fully funded exchange program to the United States for English teachers in Pakistan. This program is open to secondary-level English teachers working in government or foundation-run schools. It offers a valuable six-month training opportunity in the USA, with the aim of enhancing the skills and expertise of 50 English teachers. "Presenting the TEA Program 2023"
The Regional English Language Office RELO Pakistan, U.S. Embassy, in collaboration with Vision-Building Future and the University of Nebraska at Omaha, is delighted to announce the Pakistan Teaching Excellence and Achievement TEA Program for 2023. This program provides in-service Pakistani secondary school English language teachers with a six-week academic program at a U.S. university.
"Who Is Eligible for TEA?"
To be eligible for the Teaching Excellence & Achievement TEA program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Citizenship or current residency in Pakistan
Currently employed as a secondary-level English teacher teaching grades 6 to 10
Full-time position in a government or foundation school serving a primarily local population
At least two years of teaching experience
Possession of at least a Bachelors degree, preferably in an English-related subject
A commitment to continue teaching in Pakistan for a minimum of five years after program completion

The TEA program offers a comprehensive range of benefits for participating teachers, including:

Pre-departure orientation held in Pakistan
