Updates on Exams Schedules and Marking Policies in Sindh

The Director of Primary Education Karachi Division has announced a modification in the annual examination schedule for students in class 4 and Class 5. A notification recently issued informed students that the previously planned annual exams, scheduled to occur before Ramadan, have been postponed. As per the revised schedule, the annual exams for fourth and fifth-grade students will now commence on April 18, after the conclusion of the holy month. This adjustment aims to provide students with a necessary respite during Ramadan, allowing them ample time to prepare and review for their exams. The students and teachers will note the change in Updates on Exams Schedules and Marking Policies in Sindh.
Additional Marks for Intermediate Part-I Students:
In other recent developments, the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi BIEK has decided to grant up to 15% additional marks to students in pre-engineering, pre-medical, and general science part I. This decision follows the directives of Sindh Caretaker Chief Minister Justice Retd Maqbool Baqar. The caretaker CM approved the recommendations of a fact-finding committee, which was established to investigate the issue of intermediate part-I students receiving unusually low marks this year. As a result, it has been decided that students will be awarded 15 extra marks in Mathematics, 12 in Physics, Chemistry, and Statistics each, and six in Zoology and Botany each.
