Updated School Hours for Ramadan in Punjab
In anticipation of the forthcoming month of Ramadan, the Punjab School Education Department has announced revised timings forĀ schools across the province. Revised School Timings: According to the departments notification, single-shift schools will operate from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm on Mondays through Thursdays and Saturdays. However, on Fridays, the schedule will be from 8:30 am to 12:30 noon. For second-shift schools, classes will run from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm during Ramadan.

The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee has confirmed the sighting of the Ramadan moon in Pakistan during the evening. Consequently, the first day of fasting Roza will commence nationwide starting tomorrow Tuesday.
Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, chairman of the Moon Sighting Committee, officially declared the sighting of the Ramadan moon after a meeting in Peshawar. Representatives from various schools of thought participated in determining the beginning of the ninth Islamic month.
