Eligibility Criteria for Undergraduate Programs

For most undergraduate programs, prospective students must have a minimum of 45% marks in their intermediate or equivalent degree. However, for admission to the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science BSCS, a higher standard is set, with applicants needing at least 50% marks in their F.Sc./ICS or equivalent degree from a recognized Board.

In addition, candidates must clear the entry test conducted by the university for admission into undergraduate programs, excluding LLB 5 Years and B.Ed. Hons programs. Applicants who have successfully passed the Law Admission Test LAT administered by the Higher Education Commission HEC with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible for admission to the LLB 5 Years program. Those who clear the entry test for the B.Ed. Hons program will also be considered for admission.

Eligibility Criteria for Graduate Programs

To be eligible for M.Phil/MS and MBA programs, applicants should possess a minimum of sixteen years of education or equivalent, with a CGPA of at least 2.50 on a scale of 4.00 semester system or 50% marks annual system from a Higher Education Commission HEC-recognized university. For the MBA program, candidates with a non-business degree can also be considered after completing 30 credit hours of deficiency courses.

For PhD programs, candidates should hold a minimum of 30 credit hours of M.Phil/MS or equivalent degree with a CGPA of 3.00 on a scale of 4.00 or 60% marks annual system in the relevant subject from an HEC-recognized university. Additionally, they must submit a valid GAT/GRE General HAT-II score or qualify an equivalent test conducted by the University with a minimum of 50% for MS/M.Phil and MBA Programs, and 60% for PhD Programs, adhering to HEC rules.

Prospective PhD candidates are also required to submit a Statement of Purpose, with details available on the universitys website.

To apply for these programs, an application processing fee must be paid:

Rs. 500/- for undergraduate programs in the case of an entry test conducted by UoT or Rs. 1500/- for entry tests conducted by a testing service.
Rs. 2000/- for M.Phil/MS and MBA programs.
Rs. 3000/- for PhD programs.
This fee can be deposited in the University of Turbats account at HBL, either through challan/online or by demand draft in favor of the Registrar or Director Finance.
