Admission Notice: Doctor of Pharmacy Pharm.D at College of Pharmacy
The Punjab University College of Pharmacy, part of the University of the Punjab , is pleased to announce the opening of admissions for the Doctor of Pharmacy Pharm.D program for the session 2024-2029. This five-year program, offered in both regular morning and self-supporting evening formats, provides an excellent opportunity for aspiring pharmacists to gain comprehensive knowledge and skills in the field of pharmacy.
Program Details
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for admission, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Educational Background:
Must have completed FSc. Pre-Medical or an equivalent qualification with at least 60% marks.
B.Sc. Two years or Associate Degree holders with a subject in Botany, Zoology, or Chemistry are also eligible to apply but should apply for B.Sc. seats among the reserved seats category.
Entry Test Requirement:
Candidates must have appeared in either the University of the Punjab’s admission entry test or the MDCAT. This test contributes 25% to the merit calculation.
Application Process
Application Fee: Rs. 500/- for each program.
Application Dates: The online application portal will open on September 16, 2024, and close on October 4, 2024, at 11:59 PM.
Applications can be submitted via the online portal: PU Admissions.
Important Notes
Hafiz-e-Quran Candidates: Those claiming Hafiz-e-Quran marks must appear for an oral test on October 10, 2024, at 9:00 AM at the Punjab University College of Pharmacy.
Reserved Seats: Applicants applying under reserved seats must submit a signed application form by October 8, 2024, along with all necessary documents to the admissions office.
Hostel Accommodation: Limited hostel accommodation is available on a merit basis for morning program students, while self-supporting evening program students are not provided hostel facilities.
Additional Information
Applications are subject to the timely payment of fees and adherence to the application procedure. Incomplete applications will not be entertained.
For late submissions in the morning program, 2 marks will be deducted from academic marks for each late session, up to a maximum of five sessions. No deductions apply for the evening program.
