In a significant development, the University of Health Sciences Lahore has reopened the online application portals for MBBS and BDS admissions into public and private sector medical and dental colleges of Punjab for the session 2023-2024. This move comes in accordance with the directives of the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council PM&DC and the decision of the Provincial Admission Committee.

Reopening Dates and Portals:

The reopening of the application portals is scheduled as follows:

For Public Sector Medical and Dental College of Punjab: From 4th December, 2023 09:00 AM to 6th December, 2023 05:00 PM.

For Private Sector Medical and Dental College of Punjab: From 4th December, 2023 09:00 AM to 13th December, 2023 05:00 PM.

Eligibility Criteria:

For public sector admissions, only Punjab-domiciled candidates who have passed the MDCAT Re-conduct of KPK and Sindh are eligible to apply.

For private sector admissions, all eligible candidates can apply, irrespective of domicile and region/province of MDCAT.

Application Process:

Interested candidates can access the application portals for both public and private sector colleges on the UHS website. It is imperative to adhere to the given reopening dates for a successful application.

Important Information: The rest of the eligibility criteria remain unchanged and are as advertised on 11th October, 2023, for private sector colleges SPL # 1529 and on 12th October, 2023, for public sector colleges SPL # 1536 of medical and dental studies in Punjab.
