Universities Associate Degrees Semester Exams

Punjab Higher Education Commission managed the conference and it has made the decision for the setting up of the enhancement cell in government colleges and they want to bring semester system for all associate degrees. PHEC Chairman organized the conference and the participants of the conference were PHEC Chairman, Dr Fazal Ahmed Khalid, Dr. Khalid Aftab, D Arif Butt, Dr Nazish Attaullah, Dr Khalid Masood Gondal, Irum Bukhari (Additional Chief Secretary of HED) and MPA Sajid Ahmed. PHEC decided to set up quality enhancement cell to monitor the associate degree and honors degree in the colleges and they also accorded approval for career counseling and scholarship portal for college students and with the support of Punjab Information Technology, this portal will be established. During the conference, it was approved that separate committee will be formed for approval of associate degree courses for every single discipline. The participants of the conference also discussed the matter of awarding of the degrees to students by sub campuses. It was also discussed that proper training will be given to the teachers in the government universities and the approval of leadership training program for newly appointed Vice Chancellors of government universities is also accorded in this conference.
