UMT Released Notification for UG Scholarships 2024
The University of Management and Technology UMT has released a notification for the Chief Ministers Honhaar Undergraduate Scholarship Program 2024, initiated by the Government of Punjab. This program provides merit-based scholarships to deserving students pursuing undergraduate degrees at leading universities and colleges, including UMT. The aim is to support academically high-achieving individuals from low-income families, enabling them to access quality education without the financial burden of tuition fees.
Key eligibility criteria include holding a domicile of Punjab province, being under 22 years of age, and having a family income of less than Rs. 300,000 per month. Applicants must also be enrolled in selected disciplines at participating universities or colleges in the fall session of 2024. Students already enrolled in the 1st year of MBBS and BDS are eligible as well.
The scholarship program plans to award around 30,000 scholarships annually, covering tuition fees throughout the duration of the undergraduate degree. This initiative is a major step toward empowering students and helping them focus solely on their academic achievements.
