UET Peshawar ETEA Engineering Entrance Exam 2024 Schedule

University of Engineering and Technology Peshawar has announced the schedule for the 2024 ETEA Engineering Entry Test. This examination is mandatory for students seeking admission to engineering programs at both public and private universities and colleges across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The centralized test will be conducted by the Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency ETEA. The application deadline for the UET Peshawar ETEA test is June 28, 2024. ETEA Engineering Exam Dates

The ETEA Engineering Entry Test is set for July 7, 2024. According to the policy of the Pakistan Engineering Council PEC, two separate tests will be offered, and the higher score will be used for admission purposes. Registration for the second ETEA test will begin on July 8, 2024.

Application Process for ETEA Engineering Entry Test 2024

Candidates must complete the online registration form available at https://etea.edu.pk, paying a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1000/- per test. Roll number slips will be issued one week before each test. After the entrance test results are announced, candidates will need to submit an online admission form according to the admission schedules of the respective universities.

ETEA Eligibility Criteria 2024

To be eligible for the ETEA test, candidates must have passed the Intermediate Pre-Engineering/Computer Science or Pre-Medical with additional Mathematics examination from a recognized Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education BISE in Pakistan, or an equivalent examination, with at least 60% unadjusted marks in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Computer Science. Those holding a three-year post-matric Diploma of Associate Engineer DAE or B-Tech with at least 60% unadjusted marks are also eligible. Candidates with an Intermediate Pre-Medical qualification and a minimum of 60% unadjusted marks can apply only for Bio-Engineering or Bio-Medical Engineering programs. Candidates awaiting results may also take the entrance test provisionally.

ETEA Engineering Test Paper Structure 2024

The test will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions MCQs with no negative marking. The minimum passing score is 33%.

For Pre-Engineering & DAE/B-Tech/Pre-Medical with Additional Mathematics Candidates:

Physics: 40 questions

Mathematics: 35 questions

English: 15 questions

Chemistry/Computer Science: 10 questions

For Pre-Medical Candidates Applicable Only for Bio-Engineering or Bio-Medical Engineering Admissions:

Physics: 40 questions

Biology: 35 questions

English: 15 questions
Chemistry: 10 questions
