Eligibility Criteria for M.Phil. Programs:

Minimum 16 years of education or a 4-year BS or equivalent after FSc 130 credit hours or a Master’s degree with a CGPA of 2.50 on a scale of 4.00 or 50% marks in the relevant subject.
Valid GAT General/Subject test conducted by NTS/HEC or a subject test conducted by UOB with at least 50% score.
For those in government service, a Departmental NOC or study leave must be provided before registration.
Eligibility Criteria for PhD Programs:

18 years of education M.Phil/MS or equivalent with a CGPA of 3.00 on a scale of 4.00 or 60% marks.
Valid GAT Subject test conducted by NTS/HEC or a subject test conducted by UOB with at least 60% score.
For those in government service, a Departmental NOC or study leave must be provided.

Deadline for Submission: 13th September 2024

Online Application: Visit University of Balochistan’s online application portal to register and apply.
Document Submission: Print the completed online application form. Submit it along with the admission processing fee receipt, attested copies of all required documents including educational certificates, detailed mark sheets, domicile, CNIC, and recent passport-sized photographs to the Graduate Studies Office, Room No. 3, 1st Floor, Administration Block, University of Balochistan, Sarab Road, 87300 Quetta-Balochistan.
Processing Fee: Rs 4000 Non-refundable, payable through a bank challan at HEC-University Branch against the online account Additional Guideline No 06730001304203.
PhD Applicants: Must submit a Statement of Purpose with their admission form. This document should include:

Title of the potential research proposal.
Clear articulation of the research literature, objectives, hypothesis, methodology, significance, and proposed outcomes.
Explanation of the intended impact of the research.
Demonstration of passion and enthusiasm for the research area.
