TEVTA Budget Fiscal Year 2018-18

Lahore, The board of Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) has accorded the approval of the budget for the financial year 2018-18. The TEVTA authority has accorded the approval of the budget of Rs.8.7 billion and out of total budget, Rs.6.88 billion was reserved for the non development works and Rs.1.89 billion were reserved for the development expenses.
The 60th board meeting was conducted at the secretariat of TEVTA and the chairperson of the authority addressed the meeting and said that it is basic requirement of the government of the Punjab to enhance technical education in the country. The board of members accorded the approval for the start of the classes at the first technical university at Government Emerging Technologies College Township with the allotment of Rs.100 million. The authority will set up the campus at the Government Technical College on Raiwind Road, Lahore. The BOM accorded the approval in reducing college fee for second and evening shifts of TEVTA colleges. TEVTA is paying attention on the 3 years diploma programs with the short courses.
