Teachers Target Killing Kohat Board SSC Annual Exams Cancel

Kohat, Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Kohat has made the difficult decision to cancel the BISE Kohat Matric class annual exams 2023. This decision was made following the heartbreaking news of the murders of eight teachers in the district of Kurram, Pakistan.

The first incident occurred in Upper Kurram, where unidentified individuals opened fire in a school staff room, tragically resulting in the deaths of seven teachers. In another firing incident that occurred in Parachinar, a moving vehicle was targeted and a teacher, Muhammad Sharif, lost his life. The police have registered these cases and are actively pursuing leads to identify and bring the unknown culprits to justice.

The Kohat Board has expressed deep sorrow and sympathy for the loss of these dedicated teachers and has deemed it inappropriate to proceed with the scheduled exams amidst this tragic situation.
