Switch from One Degree to other Under HEC BS New Curriculum

Higher Education Commission has developed the new curriculum for the undergraduate program, which is provided in the universities. HEC has developed this BS degree level new curriculum after consulting with 1000 stakeholders of the 143 universities in public and private sectors all over the country. This new curriculum is devised with modern techniques and technological developments and it will be implemented in the universities from next year. HEC has made extra efforts to prepare the curriculum and the social sciences subjects are also included in the curriculum. Now in the new curriculum, every student will have to complete most important fields like Arts, Social Sciences, General Education Courses, Islamic Studies, Humanities, Quantitative Reasoning, Natural Sciences, Expository Writing and Pakistan Studies. The students will take required institutional courses to include their major subjects. The students will do the graduate in one major with two minors with one major or double major. The students will do the internship and they will choose the additional skills of business development and internship and this framework will be applicable to all undergraduate degrees and they will allow the students to move from one degree program to another.
