Summer Camps Allowed in Punjab Schools

The Punjab School Education Department has officially allowed both government and private schools in the province to organize summer camps, which will be held from June 16 to July 15, 2025. The students can check the detailed information of Strict Guidelines Issued for Summer Camps in Punjab Schools.
These camps are designed to provide academic enrichment opportunities for students of all grade levels. Attendance is optional, and schools are required to secure written permission from parents before allowing their children to join.
Punjab Sets Conditions for School-Based Summer Programs
To avoid exposure to extreme heat, the camps will function only during the morning hours, from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM, regardless of whether the school normally operates in the morning, afternoon, or evening. Private schools are strictly prohibited from charging any additional fees, and government institutions must not collect tuition from participants.
All camp activities must be conducted indoors within classroom spaces. Schools must also ensure essential services are in place, including clean drinking water, sanitation, adequate seating, functioning fans, backup electricity for power outages, and an accessible first aid kit.
Students are not required to wear school uniforms for these camps. However, it is compulsory for schools to ensure that students dress in light-colored, breathable clothing and wear hats or caps to stay protected from the summer heat.
