Sukkur IBA University Scholarships for Gilgit-Baltistan Stud

Fareed Ahmed, Secretary of the Department of Higher Technical and Special Education HT&SE in Gilgit-Baltistan, emphasized the government’s commitment to improving public sector colleges in the region. He shared these thoughts while speaking as the chief guest at a seminar organized by the Sukkur IBA University team at Fatima Jinnah Government Degree College in Gilgit. During his address, Fareed announced that Sukkur IBA University, under the “OGDCL-National Talent Hunt Program 2024,” would grant scholarships to 20 students from Gilgit-Baltistan for a four-year BS degree program. He noted that this initiative would foster healthy competition among the students and provide access to top-quality education, helping secure their future.
Fareed praised the efforts of Sukkur IBA University, especially recognizing Attaullah Jatoi, Additional Director of Sukkur IBA, and his team for organizing seminars in various public colleges throughout Gilgit-Baltistan. He acknowledged their dedication to offering this valuable educational opportunity to students in this remote region.
