Sukkur IBA University Admissions 2023-24 A Path to Educational Excellence in Sindh

Sukkur IBA University, under the auspices of the Government of Sindh, is once again opening its doors to aspiring students for admissions in various Bachelors degree programs for the academic year 2023-24. Admission Categories

The admissions are divided into two categories: Category-A for Engineering programs and Category-B for Non-Engineering programs. IBA Sukkur offer a wide range of disciplines to cater to the diverse interests of students.

Category-A Engineering Side

Category-A encompasses a multitude of engineering programs, inviting students to pursue their passion for technical and scientific fields. Some of the universities and programs under Category-A include:

University of Punjab, Lahore:

Discipline: BS English
Eligibility: At least a B Grade in Intermediate Pre-Engineering from Sindhs educational boards.
MUST Azad Jammu & Kashmir:

Disciplines: Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Software Engineering, and more.
Eligibility: At least a B Grade in Intermediate Pre-Engineering from Sindhs educational boards or equivalent qualifications.
University of Petroleum & Engineering, Khuzdar:

Disciplines: BS Hons Gender Studies, BS Political Science, and more.
Eligibility: At least a B Grade in Intermediate or equivalent with at least 50% marks from Sindhs educational boards.
University of Sargodha:

Disciplines: BSc Hons Agriculture, Animal Sciences, Home Economics, and more.
Eligibility: At least a 2nd Division in Intermediate or equivalent from Sindhs educational boards in relevant disciplines.
Category-B Non-Engineering Side

Category-B is designed for students interested in non-engineering programs, offering a wide array of choices in various fields. Some of the universities and programs in Category-B include:

Government College Lahore:

Disciplines: Biotechnology, Botany, Chemistry, Microbiology, and more.
Eligibility: Intermediate in relevant disciplines from Sindhs educational boards with at least 50% marks.
University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Muzaffarabad:

Disciplines: English literature, Islamic Studies, Political Science, and more.
Eligibility: Intermediate in relevant disciplines from Sindhs educational boards with at least 50% marks.
University of Poonch Rawalakot:

Disciplines: BSc Hons Agriculture, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Language Islamic & Oriental Learning, and more.
Eligibility: Intermediate in relevant disciplines from Sindhs educational boards with at least 50% marks.
University of Punjab, Lahore:

Disciplines: BSc Hons Agriculture Agronomy, BSc Hons Agriculture Horticulture, and more.
Eligibility: At least a 2nd Division in Intermediate or equivalent from Sindhs educational boards.
Eligibility and Application Process

To be eligible for these programs, students must meet certain criteria:

Maximum age limit: 22 years for admission to the University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Muzaffarabad.
Domicile and PRC Form-C of Sindh province.
Passed HSC/F.Sc/Intermediate examination from Sindh province.
Students from Sindh who have passed Intermediate in other provinces on reserved seats are also eligible.
Students who passed Intermediate/HSC/F.Sc exams in the years 2021, 2022, and 2023 awaiting results are eligible.
The completely filled forms, along with attested copies of documents, should be submitted by hand or through courier on or before November 13, 2023, to the Deputy Manager Admission, Sukkur IBA University.

For both engineering and non-engineering categories, an entrance test will be conducted at DJ Sindh Government Science College on November 18, 2023.
