South Punjab Schools Department Imposes Education Emergency

Due to poor performance of the students of the government schools in the board exams result in the South Punjab districts, the department of South Punjab Schools declared education emergency. South Punjab Schools Department Imposes Education Emergency in the government schools with the aim to improve the situation of the education and for the preparation of the students for the coming matric and intermediate classes annual exams.

By taking the initiative on the declaration of the emergency, the department wrote the letter to all CEOs so that they administer the December test according to the procedure of the board. The government has taken this situation seriously to improve the standard of education in the public schools as most of the people that private schools concentrate on the education of the students while the government schools are lagging behind in ensuring quality of education. Now the public schools will take it seriously to prepare their students adequately to appear in the coming SSC and HSSC classes annual exams.

Keeping in view the previous performance of the students of the government schools, it is revealed that the students have shown very bad performance in both classes annual exams. Huge number of students failed to get the passing marks and high percentage of the passing students secured below-average marks, which shows the deplorable condition of the education being imparted in these schools. Now the team of assessment specialists will monitor the education in the schools at the district level to test them at the board format.
