Admission Criteria

To be eligible for these postgraduate programs, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Hold an MBBS degree from a recognized university mentioned in schedule I & II of the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council Act.
Possess a valid registration certificate from the PMC/PM&DC as a Medical Practitioner.
Have completed one year of House Job in a recognized teaching institute, with a preferable six months in the relevant specialty.

Several important instructions and information need to be considered:

The application forms are obtainable from Sindh Bank, VIP Road branch in Larkana, or they can be downloaded from the SMBBMU website.
Entry tests will be conducted for FCPS-II candidates in cases where the number of applications exceeds available seats.
Entry test venues and times will be announced with the issuance of Admit Cards.
Only candidates who qualify the written entry test will be called for an interview, and selection will be based on merit and seat availability.
No travel allowances or daily allowances will be provided for the entry test or interview.
The Postgraduate Directorate reserves the right to modify the schedule or courses due to unavoidable circumstances.
Candidates in government service or affiliated with other universities must apply through the proper channels.
The Postgraduate Selection Committee has the authority to cancel admissions. However, candidates have the right to appeal within two weeks of the decision.
