for BSN Generic 04 Years Degree Program at Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical College, Lyari Karachi

Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical College SMBBMC Lyari, in collaboration with Sindh Government Lyari General Hospital, Karachi, is now accepting applications for the BSN Generic 04 Years Degree Program for the academic session 2025-2028. The program is open to both male and female candidates, with separate seats allocated for the College of Nursing Male Lyari and Ayaz Samoon Nursing College Female Lyari.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be eligible for admission:

Educational Qualifications:

Matric Science: Passed with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects from any Board of Secondary Education in Sindh.
FSc Pre-Medical: Minimum 50% marks with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects from any Board of Higher Education in Sindh.
Age Limit:

Candidates must be between 14-35 years old, as per Pakistan Nursing Council Rules. The age will be considered up to the last date of submission of the application form.
Domicile:

Candidates must possess a domicile/PRC from any district of Sindh Province, including Karachi. Applicants on Lyari quota-cum-merit must have a domicile/PRC of Lyari Town.
Seats Allocation
< b>College of Nursing Male, Lyari Karachi:

Lyari Town: 37 seats
Rest of Karachi and Internal Sindh: 38 seats
Total Seats: 75
College of Nursing Female, Ayaz Samoon, Lyari Karachi:

Lyari Town: 25 seats
Rest of Karachi and Internal Sindh: 25 seats
Total Seats: 50
Application Procedure
Aptitude Test:

The aptitude test will be conducted by the National Testing Service NTS.
Each candidate must purchase the admission form with a bank draft/pay order of Rs. 1000/- in favor of the Principal, Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical College, Lyari, Karachi.
Additionally, candidates must pay Rs. 800/- to NTS www.nts.org.pk for the aptitude test fee either in nominated branches or online.
Candidates should apply online at the NTS website and submit a hard copy of the admission form to the Admin Block, SMBBMC Lyari, Karachi.
NTS will dispatch admit cards to candidates given addresses or they can be downloaded from the NTS website.
Submission of Application Forms:

The last date for submission of application forms is August 10, 2024.
Admission forms should be submitted to the Admin Block, SMBBMC Lyari, Karachi.
Late submissions will not be considered.
Required Documents:

Attested photocopies of the following documents must be included with the application:
Matric certificate with mark sheet
FSc certificate with mark sheet
National Identity Card CNIC CNICs with dual addresses will not be accepted
Domicile and PRC Certificate
Four passport-size photographs
Two sets of all relevant documents
Important Notes
Candidates should apply on a merit basis.
Admission forms must be complete in all respects; incomplete and late applications will not be entertained.
No TA/DA will be provided for the pre-entry test.
Stipends will be given based on punctuality and academic performance.
