The Sindh government has announced a significant initiative to establish 3000 primary schools across the province as part of the Non-Formal Literacy Education Project. This move is designed to improve educational access in remote and underserved areas, with active support from various non-governmental organizations NGOs. The students can check the fresh updates of Sindh Govt to Launch 3,000 Primary Schools in Rural Areas.

First Phase of the Project

The initial phase of this project will see schools being set up in five specific districts: Mirpur Khas, Umerkot, Tharparkar, Kashmore, and Jacobabad. In this phase, NGOs will oversee the management and operation of the schools, while the Sindh School Education Department will contribute financially to ensure smooth implementation of the plan.

Role of NGOs in the Project

The NGOs involved in the initiative will be responsible for providing the necessary infrastructure, including school buildings, textbooks, and uniforms for the students. This partnership ensures that schools are fully equipped to provide quality education. A formal agreement between the School Education Department and participating NGOs will establish the specific duties and expectations of each party.

Important Meeting to Finalize Plans

A key meeting has been scheduled for December 9 at 3:30 PM, where the final steps of the project will be discussed. The meeting, to be held at the office of the Director of Non-Formal Literacy Education, will be chaired by Sarfaraz, the Chief Education Development and Planning Officer.

Attendance and Further Preparations

The meeting will also be attended by Deputy Secretaries Muhammad Azeem and Ashraf Hussain Ansari, along with other significant officials. Their role will be to assess and finalize the details of the plan, ensuring the project’s efficient rollout in the selected districts.
