Sindh Govt Shift from Urdu to English Medium in Schools

In a significant move, the Sindh government has opted to replace the existing Urdu Medium education system with an English Medium Education System in its public schools. This decision has been taken with the aim of enhancing the quality of education in government institutions and introducing a sense of modernization and awareness to the education system. The directive for this transition comes from the Western district of Karachi, following instructions from the Director of Secondary Schools in Karachi. This transition is slated to be implemented starting from the academic session of 2024-25. However, its worth noting that students who prefer to continue their education in the Urdu Medium system will still have the option to do so.
