SIMS SIUT UGDP Admission 2024

Sindh Institute of Medical Sciences SIMS Karachi, in partnership with the Sindh Institute of Urology & Transplantation SIUT, introduces a spectrum of Undergraduate Degree Programs UGDP recognized by the Higher Education Commission HEC Pakistan. Established under the Sindh Provincial Assembly Act-200SIMS-SIUT9, these programs aim to deliver comprehensive medical education.

Aspiring candidates are invited to apply for various programs including BS in Medical Technology, Anaesthesia and Critical Care Sciences, Clinical Laboratory Sciences, Diagnostic Radiology, Dialysis and Critical Care Sciences, Nuclear Medicine and Radiotherapy, Operation Theater Sciences, and Respiratory Therapy and Critical Care Sciences.

Eligibility criteria mandate applicants to hold an Intermediate Science Pre-Medical or equivalent degree from a recognized board or institute with a minimum aggregate of 60%. Prospective students should be permanent residents of Sindh and not exceed 22 years of age.

A specialized program, BS Nursing-Generic, designed exclusively for female candidates, requires a minimum aggregate of 50% in Intermediate Science Pre-Medical or its equivalent. Applicants must be permanent residents of Sindh and should not exceed 25 years of age.

For individuals seeking certification as Nursing Assistants, prerequisites include an Intermediate Science Pre-Medical or equivalent qualification, a minimum aggregate of 50%, and a maximum age of 22 years.

Admissions are exclusively online through the SIMS-SIUT website with the deadline set for December 4, 2023. Submissions via email or in person will not be accepted.

Eligible candidates will undergo an entry test, the details of which will be communicated through SMS and email. Successful candidates will proceed to an in-person interview.
